Longbow 2 was designed to run on Windows 95/98 operating systems. If you are using Windows XP then one of the ways to get it working is as follows:

1. Install Longbow 2 (if you have previous versions installed - remove them)
2. Download and Install the Latest Patch update.

3. Download and Install the Display Patch.

4. Download the Longbowfix2 Patch.

5. Unzip the Longbow2fix patch and copy the longbow2fix file into your Longbow2 folder.
6. Click on the lb2cfg file in your Longbow2 folder and set it to Software Mode.
7. Download and install the Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT)

8. Start ACT from the Compatibility Administrator icon in your Programs Menu
9. Select Open, go to your Longbow 2 folder and click on the longbow2fix file
10. Click Save on the ACT Main Menu
11. Right-Click where it says AH64-LB2, click Install and exit ACT.
12. You can then start the game as normal from the LB2.exe
